Tegan Taylor

Master of Ceremonies

Tegan Taylor is a health and science reporter for the ABC and co-host of the ABC’s multi-award-winning Coronacast and Radio National’s Health Report.

She also hosts the podcast Quick Smart and the live event series and radio/podcast Ockham’s Razor. She’s been known to pop up on Triple J and in the Best of Australian Science Writing. In 2020, her work on Coronacast won a Walkley award and the Eureka Prize for Science Journalism.

Tegan was previously a producer on the ABC’s national digital newsdesk, a journalism lecturer at The University of Queensland and, long ago, a newspaper reporter.

Nova Peris

Nova Peris OAM OLY is an Olympic Gold Medalist, a Commonwealth Champion and the first Aboriginal woman elected to Federal Parliament.

With an astonishing sporting career representing Australia across the globe in two different sports, Peris was a key component of both the Australian women’s field hockey team and the Australian track and field team.

Nova was the first of 10,000 Olympic flame torchbearer’s at the iconic Uluru, where she ran barefoot with the flame and is the only person to make back-to-back Summer Olympic Games finals and consecutive Olympics in different sports.

Following a successful athletic career, Nova then became the first Aboriginal women to sit in the Federal Parliament as Senator for the Northern Territory.

Nova has now started her own charity, the Nova Peris Foundation, and recently had her bronze statue unveiled in Federation Square, Melbourne.

Dilruk Jayasinha

Hailing from Sri Lanka, Dilruk Jayasinha originally made the move to Melbourne to attend university. After a brief stint in accounting, he discovered stand-up. Dilruk soon ditched the numbers for the stage and a decade later, he’s one of Australia’s favourite and in-demand comedians.

Cultivating a reputation with audiences for delivering laughed-packed shows with his positive and upbeat brand of comedy, Dilruk has toured every major comedy festival in Australia and has also performed extensively overseas, including Edinburgh Fringe, Soho London, and the invitation-only Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. 

He is also an award-winning face on Australian TV, having appeared on programs such as Have You Been Paying Attention?, Would I Lie To You and Spicks and Specks, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, and Celebrity MasterChef. In 2018, Dilruk won the prestigious Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular New Talent at the TV Week Logie Awards.

Ethan Glessich

Ethan Glessich is the Founder and Managing Director of Kognitive, a management consultancy that uses neuroscience to help businesses and individuals maximise productivity and performance.

Ethan began his career as an aerospace engineer. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, a Bachelor of Business in Business Administration, and a Certificate IV in Small Business Management. His co-founder at Kognitive has a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience, a Master in Neuropsychology, and a Bachelor in Psychology.

Ethan’s exploration of the brain science behind keynote topic has resulted in numerous awards from prestigious organisations such as MIT, PwC, Smart Company, and the City of Melbourne. This has also led to him working with some of Australia’s most respected organisations, including Victoria Police, CPA Australia, Wesfarmers, and hundreds of smaller high-growth firms.

Outside of work, Ethan’s passion is paragliding acrobatics. He has flown off five of the world’s largest mountain ranges and was the first person to represent Australia at the World Paragliding Aerobatic Championships.

Dr Natalie Flatt Ph.D

Natalie holds over 15 years of presentation experience across all industry types and lifespans. Natalie values working closely with key decision-makers to create wellness innovation within teams that is contemporary yet authentic. Natalie values a ‘how to approach’ to wellbeing supported by research evidence to lead to
greater intrinsic motivation and behaviour change.
